Founders Ella Koppelman and Lotte Konings have met each other during their study bag- and shoe design at SintLucas Academy for craftsmanship. Afterwords both of them studied at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam, Ella in the field of fashion and Lotte in the field of product design. Despite their different studies, both graduated with their own bag collection. The shared passion for bags and the love for interior and color has been the start for the set up of Use of Color. Timeless design, color and sustainability are our main focus at Use of Color, with the goal to inspire people and provide more color in their life.
